To all the rude people out there: STOP IT.
Tonight I went dancing. Wait, back up, I had a pretty good day today: watched some Globetrotters from Harlem play bball, ate a good portioned meal of 1/4 soup 3/4 dessert for lunch, and spent the rest of my night watching The New Girl (love) and other junk found on Hulu. These happy memories all lead me to believe that I am generally happy with life and that I am generally a happy person. And then...

Baking and Bumming Around
Today didn’t start out too great. But we’ll leave it at that and move on to how it got better. I woke up actually feeling HEALTHY! I think I’m finally over my cold. And, although it’s only been a week since I’ve gotten sick, it seemed more like two with the number of hours I worked and the amount of miserable I felt. I hate being cooped up in my house for more than a...

I have spent all day at home. I cleaned, sorted bills, made lists, started on my art project, read and watched my team make one heck of a comeback from our backups. Not a bad day off. However, I truly look forward to the days where it’s a day off in my own place and I can have a little alone time. I guess that’s what tomorrow’s for. Goodnight moon.

OOoooh my gosh! I’m so excited. So many great things are coming together! I am filled with the creative bug, which means I actually have motivation to do something outside of work for the next few weeks! Yay! No more boring laziness for me! Also, today was a good day. 1) I actually had a decent day of sales at work. 2) My buddy Kassi brought me the second book in the Matched series,...

Tumblr, I missed you.
Wow. Did NOT realize how much I’d miss blogging but I’m pretty sure I thought of a billion different things I’ve wanted to blog about over the past few weeks and it absolutely KILLED not being able to. For the past monthish I’ve had two jobs. One for daytime, one for nighttime and on a scale from 1-10 I loved it….0. I would wake up in the morning, go to my main job,...

Following the Light
As I drove home tonight, from the middle of the city towards the country, I realized how ten minutes, just ten minutes, will bring you into a totally different world, if you let yourself notice it. The buildings and houses thin, the trees thicken, the streetlights go away. And then, suddenly, all you’re left with are the headlights of your car to guide you through the winding hills and...

Another series to read :)
I unintentionally read two books at the same time this week that happened to be so similar I’m surprised I didn’t confuse them. Luckily, although both have the same premise that freedom is taken for granted and no government should be in full control of it’s peoples’ lives, the authors have a completely different way of writing which let me enjoy each book separately :) I...

According to my dream last night/ this morning I need to 1. Get a puppy 2. Start playing sports again because I’m amazazing 3. Chill about the little things And 4. Stop drinking tea because, according to my visit to the White House, it’s highly unpatriotic…

Misunderstandings...awkward and hilarious.
I’m thinking maybe I should just start a blog simply about the interactions I have with customers at my job. Seriously. People are so weird/rude/awkward/annoying/hilarious that they just make life…interesting. First customer of the day today decides I must be flirting with him because I’m asking about his life because that’s MY JOB. After a semi-awkward silence at end of...

Anniversary (three whole years!!!) continued
Here are some of the many pictures we took while on our double date in the Beartooth Mountains. LOVE. MY. NEW. CAMERA. Had to wait for the herd of cattle to make it across the road: He looks pretty good in his new coat, if I do say so myself: Close ups!: See how far away I am in this pic?: This is the pic Cam took from the same distance without...

Hectic/annoying/horrible week
This week has been one hectic mess of problems since day one. Day one, of course, being Sunday. Sunday morning, after a fairly quiet end of the previous week, started off with my body waking me up far too early (like 3ish hours before I had to be at work early) followed by locking my keys in my running car for 15 minutes until my dad came to unlock the door which was then followed shortly after ...

You know what I realized? I realized that I am a lazy person. And, in my everyday life, I will revert back to doing nothing or the bare minimum because it’s comfortable and doing things is tiring. I often will choose to sleep in instead of get up and go to class/be productive. I’ll sit in front of a TV and watch HGTV instead of going out with friends. I will cook dinner and then, as...

Football, pumpkins and rodeos - I LOVE FALL!
What a crazy/wonderful past few weeks these have been! I feel like I haven’t sat down and vegged for a month…and yet I’m grateful I haven’t. Doing things provides more memories. And for anyone that knows me, I’m AAAAALLLL about the memories. :) Anyhoo, this week, aside from working, I kept my self occupied with the following: 1) Attending a LGF (Little Guy Football)...
